Upon the request of the petitioner, the court shall seal the Declaration of Name Change file if it finds that the petitioner or petitioner’s minor is a victim of domestic violence as defined in Title 5, Chapter 13, of the Tribe’s Criminal Code and there is a reasonable fear for the person’s safety or that of the minor.
